Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a device for the protection of electrical equipment against overvoltages, consisting of a housing (1, 2) and overvoltage protection elements arranged within the housing, a printed circuit board (8) being arranged in the housing (1, 2), with the varistors (6) and connection terminals (3, 4, 5) mounted thereon, and fuse strips (9) soldered to the circuit board (8), at leastone of which is soldered to the contact point (10) of each varistor (6), wherein in the event of a solder joint becoming overheated due to an overvoltage event, a contact separator (11) is pushed into the gap between the fuse strip (9) and a varistor (6), breaking the solder connection, and holding the fuse strip (9) away from the varistor (6) in the region of the solder joint (10). |
