Scene mode automatic selection method

The present invention discloses a scene mode automatic selection method which is applied for a camera device, wherein the scene mode automatic selection method comprises the following steps: detecting the image to be picked; analyzing the main characteristic of image; comparing the main characteristic with the characteristic standard of each scene mode with a sequence from high use ratio to low use ratio for obtaining a scene mode corresponding with the characteristic standard which corresponds with the main characteristic; and adjusting the present camera shooting parameter of camera device to the camera shooting parameter corresponding with the obtained scene mode. The comparing sequence is determined through the use ratio of various scenes, and the time for searching comparing can be reduced. Furthermore, the use ratio can be recalculated according to the used scene mode after each camera shooting for quickly providing the scene mode which corresponds with the user requirement.
