Zusammenfassung:	A pad for a disk brake capable of effectively preventing friction members from being partially dropped out. The pad includes reinforcement plates (14) and friction members (16) fixed to the reinforcement plates (14). The pad further includes projections (25) projecting from the surfaces of the reinforcement plates (14) onto which the friction members (16) are fixed. The projections (25) have a height equal to or reaching nearly to the friction surfaces of the friction members (16), and fixed to the friction members (16). The base material of the projections (25) is same as that of the friction members (16). The projections (25) are fixed to the reinforcement plates (14) by mechanical fastening means.
