Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a noise-suppressing and highly abrasion-resistant tape, preferably for wrapping elongated products such as, in particular, leads or cable looms, comprising a backing which is composed at least of three layers, specifically a first outer layer A, a second outer layer B, and an interlayer C, which is located between outer layers A and B and is firmly connected at least in sections to the outer layers A and B. The outer layer A is composed of a stitchbonded nonwoven, the outer layer B is composed of a nonwoven, and the interlayer C is composed of a film which is coated on both sides with a viscoelastic adhesive.
