Method and device for the automated identification of bobbin tubes

The present invention relates to a method and a device for the automated identification of bobbin tubes, wherein the bobbin tube is used at a workstation for producing textile machine for cross winding bobbin, and the method and the device is capable of automatically identifying the bobbin tube using the special characteristic of the bobbin tube during a multi-batch operation process of the textile machine. According to the invention, the method involves comparing actually recorded image information of the bobbin tube with image information of an already classified bobbin tube. The bobbin tube (2) is identified when a fixable match of the bobbin tube (2) with the already classified bobbin tube is obtained using a pattern matching process or a color matching process.
