Zusammenfassung:A portable telephone is capable of executing to the last a processing to be performed when an emergency occurs. The portable telephone comprises a power control section for supplying drive power, a RAM where data can be stored without supply of drive power from the power control section, a security switch for detecting occurrence of an emergency, and a control section for the drive when supplied with the drive power from the power control section. The control section stores an ON emergency flag indicating an emergency mode in the RAM in response to the detection of the occurrence of the emergency by the security switch (S17) and performs an emergency processing (S12). When the power control section starts up when the supply of the drive power from the power control section starts, the control section performs an emergency processing (S12) when the ON emergency flay is stored in the RAM (YES at S11).
