Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:Organic chlorine compounds are separated off from the waste gas formed in the reaction of ethylene with oxygen to give acetaldehyde in the presence of a catalyst system comprising palladium and copper or compounds thereof in a hydrochloric acid aqueous solution, by countercurrent washing of the waste gas discharged after isolation of the reaction products at temperatures of 233 K to 323 K and pressures of 1 to 10 bar using polar organic solvents.
