Zusammenfassung:	Novel insecticidally and acarididally active vinylcyclopropanecarboxylic acid esters of the formula in which R represents alkylthio, alkylsulphinyl, alkylsulphonyl, amino, monoalkylamino or dialkylamino, and wherein X and Y either simultaneously represent halogen or X and Y simultaneously represent alkyl, or in which X represents CF3, Y represents Cl and, R simultaneously represents methylmercapto. The alcohols of such esters are also new.
