The invention relates to a sound card testing device and a method thereof, which is used for detecting whether a sounding port of a soundcard in a personal computer leaks sound. The testing device comprises a switching circuit and a switching unit. The switching circuit is electrically connected with the sounding port and the sound receiving port of the soundcard. The switching circuit comprises a plurality of transmission paths, which are used for receiving a first sound channel and a second sound channel. The switching circuit connects the first sound channel and the second sound channel tocorresponding transmission paths so that the first sound channel and the second sound channel are fed back to the sound receiving port. The switching unit is electrically connected with the sounding port and the switching circuit. The switching unit is used for receiving the first sound channel and the second sound channel.
