The invention provides a device and a method for switching portable display products. A display screen is embedded into a body; a thicker grab handle is formed on one lateral end edge; a main operational key at the highest usage frequency is arranged at the middle point on one side of the display screen; the lateral end edge is divided into an upper side and a lower side by the main operational key as the middle point; two operational key groups are respectively arranged on the tow sides; the operational key group on the upper side are the operational keys in common use; and a control system is arranged in the body, and used for switching the display direction of the display screen and the functional positions of the two operational key groups, thereby facilitating the single-handed operation.
