Slot in type CD-ROM

The invention provides a slot-in CD driver comprising a mechanism, a sliding element and a supporting element, wherein a spindle motor and an optical read/write head are arranged on the mechanism and used for carrying and rotating a CD disk and reading data from the CD disk respectively; the sliding element is arranged on one side of the mechanism and capable of conducting reciprocating movement along the loading/ejecting direction of the CD disk; and the supporting element is arranged on the sliding element and capable of moving with the sliding element. When the CD disk is loaded into or ejected out of the slot-in CD driver, the supporting element is correspondingly positioned below the CD disk to support the CD disk, so that the CD disk is loaded into or ejected out of slot-in CD driver at a certain height, thereby preventing being scratched by other components inside the CD driver.
