The invention relates to an electric water heater which comprises a shell body, an internal bladder in the shell body, a control circuit board which is arranged in a cavity between the shell body and the internal bladder, and an element capable of generating heat when working which is arranged on the control circuit. The electric water heater of the invention is characterized in that: the water heater also comprises a water intake pipe connector made from a heat conducting material; the inner end of the water intake pipe connector is connected with a water inlet of the internal bladder while the outer end of the water intake pipe connector penetrates through the shell body and exposes; furthermore, the water intake pipe connector positioned in the middle part between the internal bladder and the shell body is connected with the element capable of generating heat on the control circuit board by means of heat conduction.
