Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a method for testing the accelerated aging of alfalfa seeds; the method includes the procedures as follows: the water content of the alfalfa seed is adjusted; the alfalfa seed is treated by accelerated aging under the temperature of 45 DEG C and humidity of 100 percent for 84h; and the seed germination rate of the aged seed is tested. The method of the invention not only can avoid the limitation in testing the germination rate of conventional seed, and well reflect the performance and storing property of the seed in field, but also can shorten the testing cycle; moreover, the method is easy to be operated and free of complex devices; with the method, the actual emergence and storing property of the seed in field can be predicted, and the level of the seed vitality can be reflected, thus the method is suitable to separate the alfalfa seeds with different quality. |
