Use of water hyacinth extract in preparing lipid-lowering medicine

The invention relates to the application of water hyacinth extractive in preparing lipid-lowering medicaments and the preparation method of the water hyacinth extractive. The water hyacinth extractive is the extractive of stems, leaves and/or roots of Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.Solms) which belongs to the Pontederiaceae plant, and the extraction solvent adopts water or the organic solvent with medium polarity to large polarity, such as chloroform, ethyl acetate, acetone, methanol, ethanol and normal butanol. The water hyacinth extractive can also be the extracted fresh juice or the dried products of the extracted fresh juice of stems, leaves and/or roots of water hyacinth. The water hyacinth extractive has the effects of reducing blood lipid and preventing fatty liver. The water hyacinth extractive can be prepared into the preparation which is clinically acceptable, and can be applicable to the treatment of lipid disorder caused by various diseases for reducing blood lipid or to the treatment of the fatty liv
