The present invention provides a charge recovery system of a liquid crystal display, and a charge recovery method thereof. The charge recovery system comprises a controller and at least a switch module. When the driving signals of a grid scanning line and the source scanning line of the liquid crystal display do not work, the controller transmits at least a first control signal; the switch module can couple the source scanning line with the voltage supply source of at least one first drive circuit of the liquid crystal display, according to the first control signal. Because of the coupling of the source scanning line and the voltage supply source of the first drive circuit, the charges which are not used in the liquid crystal unit coupled with the source scanning line are recovered in the charge storage element of the voltage supply source of the first drive circuit.
