The invention provides a stage particle trap device which adopts filtering bodies with different trap efficiencies, and the filtering efficiencies of the filtering bodies in different stages increase from an air inlet end to an air outlet end stage by stage. When airflow containing soot or/and particles flows through the device, the particles with different compositions and sizes are trapped on the filtering bodies in different stages respectively, thereby the particles can be completely or partially removed finally.
