Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to green alumina ceramics and a method for making the same. The green alumina ceramics is characterized in that: the compositions in percentage by weight of the green alumina ceramics are: 2.5 to 7.0 percent of SiO2, 2.0 to 6.5 percent of CaO, 0.4 to 1.0 percent of MgO, 0.1 to 0.5 percent of NiO and the balance being Al2O3. The making process is as follows: firstly, proportioning is carried out through taking the gross weight of alumina, magnesia, quartz, calcium carbonate and nickel oxide as 100 percent according to the chemical composition of yellow alumina ceramics; secondly, a dispersing agent, agglomerant, a plasticizing agent and water respectively occupying 0.1 to 1.0 percent, 0.5 to 2.0 percent, 0.1 to 1.0 percent and 30 to 50 percent of the weight of the ingredients are added; thirdly, the green alumina ceramics with even coloring and high density can be made after ball milling, slurry, spraying granulation, forming and sintering.
