The invention relates to a driving device of a sewing machine. In a sewing machine for double circular seam with a loop wire hook (5) and a tangent hook (6), an electric motor (2) of a sewing machine of a driving source as the main shaft (10) of the sewing machine is provided with a sequential control part (7) which provides action instructions of the loop wire hook (5) and the tangent hook (6) so that the loop wire hook (5) and the tangent hook (6) carry out actions associated with respective actions of a looping machine (30) and a needle (40) to realize ladder stop. The respective actions of the looping machine (30) and the needle (40) is corresponding to the rotation of the main shaft (10) of a sewing machine driven and controlled by the electric motor (2) of a sewing machine.
