Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a bruguiera gymnorrhiza metallothionein and an encoded sequence thereof, cDNA sequence encoding protein contains base pairs from the 89th position to the 328th position of SED ID NO.1, which belongs to new plant type II metallothionein. The invention also relates to a method for separating nucleotide and the expression of bMT protein in escherichia coli. A DNA sequence which encodes the bMT is recombined to a plasmid vector pET-100TOPO and transformed into escherichia coli BL21, and the resistance is researched in LB culture medium which respectively contains heavy metal with different concentration. Strains which have the bMT can resist Zn2+and Cd2+ with certain concentration.
