The invention relates to a processing method of a multi-protocol data packet in remote monitoring, which comprises connecting a monitoring platform and at least a network element which is monitored through networks, and the method also comprises the following steps: establishing protocol format files, finding out the protocol format contents which are corresponded with the network element in the protocol format files, and processing the data packet according to the format which is indicated by the protocol format contents which are found out. The invention also relates to a device for achieving the upper data packet processing method.
