Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a walking-beam conveyor for regularly conveying plate strip, sheet pack or similar conveying objects, comprising at least one walking-beam raising and lowering between lateral support surfaces by a lifting device and moving by at least one traction drive in transport direction. The invention is characterized in that the traction drive is formed as double cylinder driving device having at least one first walking cylinder and at least one second walking cylinder shifting by virtue of the first one.
