Zusammenfassung:	A hoist apparatus comprising a stationary shaft supported by a support, and a sheave having a cavity with a side opening detachably, and rotatably, mounted on the shaft. A motor stator assembly is mounted on the support member and extends into the inner space through the side opening, and a motor rotor assembly is disposed within the inner space in an electromagnetically inductive relationship with the motor stator assembly. The motor rotor assembly is detachably connected to the sheave by a connecting assembly including a bolt fastening the motor rotor assembly to the sheave.
