Regenerated lead acid batteries and method

The invention provides a regeneration lead-acid battery and a regeneration method, which belong to a field of the lead-acid battery. The regeneration lead-acid battery includes a lead-acid battery characterized in that: as for a scraped lead-acid battery with battery capacity less than 60-90 percent of a rated value, an anode is taken as a cathode, while a cathode is taken as an anode, and thus the anode and the cathode are exchanged with each other and are connected with a load. The regeneration method includes the processes: (1) the capacity of the battery is discharged to 0 voltage before the anode and the cathode are exchanged and connected with each other; (2) when the battery capacity reaches 60 to 90 percent of the rated value, the anode and the cathode are exchanged with each other; (3) current charging is carried out by applying the rated capacity of the battery of 10 hours-rate; (4) when the charging voltage reaches the rated value, the battery is stabilized for 3-5 hours.
