Zusammenfassung:	The object of the invention is to provide a novel three-piece square capable of eliminating a problem in a conventional three-piece can wherein a can shell joined part is defective (defective joining) and a problem in a two-piece can wherein the strength of a can body is insufficient and having excellent liquid leakage resistance, can body strength, and heat radiating properties for use as cases for batteries and electrical devices. In the method of manufacturing the three-piece square can, a circular blank formed of an aluminum plate in which an organic coating film is formed on at least onesurface thereof is deep-drawn so that the organic coating film can be positioned on the inside of the can to form a bottomed circular can. The bottom of the bottomed circular can is cut off to form acylinder without a joint on the side face, and the cylinder is deformed in a square shape to form a square shell part without a joint on its side face.
