Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a gelatin -Ag nanometer composite with bacteriostatic function and the preparation method thereof. The composite has Ag nanometer grain size of 1-100nm and the preparation method is as follows: (1) gelatin and soluble silver salt firstly have agitation and reaction, then a reducing agent is added, and dialysis is carried out after continuous agitation and reaction; (2) the dialyzed solution can be directly used as gelatin -Ag nanometer composite bacteriostatic solution or be prepared into the gelatin -Ag nanometer composite with bacteriostatic function after refrigeration, drying and sterilization. The composite has due strength, good air permeability and good bacteriostatic function with simple and easy preparation method. As nanometer material with bacteriostatic function, the composite can be widely applicable to various fields like medicine dressing, beautification articles, etc.
