System and method for collecting dust in production line

The invention relates to a system and a method of collecting dust used in a production line. A suction machine is arranged at a position of the production line where dust is produced. The suction machine is provided with a dust-collecting box that corresponds to the suction machine. Dust is drawn into the dust-collecting box after being filtered in the suction machine. Every dust-collecting box has sealed connection with a dust outlet of the corresponding suction machine. Every dust-collecting box is provided with an automatically-controlled valve. All the dust-collecting boxes are respectively connected with a common sealed and automatic transfer channel through the valve. The dust in the dust-collecting box can enter the transfer channel through the valve and go through the transfer channel to enter a dust-collecting barrel arranged at an end of the transfer channel.
