Base station power control method and device

This invention relates to a method and a device for controlling power of base stations, in which, the method includes: 1, setting an initial control digit for a digital gain attenuation controller, 2, reading the forward power got from adjustment by the controller, 3, comparing the difference between the forward power and a preset target power with the minimum adjusted power value of the controller to judge if the adjustment of the power is successful, 4, if the adjustment is not done, a new control digit is computed to repeat step 2 and 4 till to the success, which speeds up velocity of power adjustment.
