Zusammenfassung:	Provided are a processing apparatus, a mold for wood processing, and a method of processing wood that allows for realization of high shape stability of a processed wooden piece with a uniform density, and that allows for forming of a wooden piece without generation of cracks regardless of the shape of the wooden piece to be processed. The wooden piece (51') is compressed by a first mold (81) madeof a material having at least one characteristic of viscosity and elasticity at least in a portion (82) that abuts a surface of the wooden piece, and a second mold (71) made of metal sandwiching the wooden piece with the first mold to apply compressive force on the wooden piece.
