Zusammenfassung: | A battery increased in safety by securely short-circuiting electrodes when a center pin is collapsed by an external force. The center pin (30) is inserted into the center of a roll manufactured by laminating a positive pole and a negative pole on each other through a separator and spirally winding the laminated poles. The center pin (30) comprises a slit (31) in the longitudinal direction, and first cutout parts (32) crossing perpendicularly to the slit (31). When the center pin is collapsed by the external force, corner parts (33) at intersections between the slit (31) and the first cutout parts (32) are projected to securely produce a short-circuit. Also, second cutout parts (34) in a vertical direction to the slit (31) are desirably be formed at positions facing the slit (31) in the circumferential direction. The center pin (30) is desirably be formed in an elliptic or flat oval shape in cross section, and the slit (31) is desirably be formed at a position where the diameter of the elliptic or flat oval shape in cross section is largest. |
