Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a communication network and method for accumulative prepayment accounting and post-payment accounting. The communication network (200) consists of exchanging system (204), accounting selection system (210), prepayment accounting system (220) and post-payment accounting system (230). When the exchanging system received the user call, the exchanging system may process the user archive to determine the accounting type of call. If the accounting type of the user includes the mixed prepayment/post-payment, then the exchanging system may send the query to the accounting selection system. Give the response to the query, the accounting selection system may process the accounting standard to specify whether the called prepayment/post-payment is the prepayment or post-payment. The accounting selection system may start the called prepayment accounting or post-payment accounting according to the accounting standards.
