Zusammenfassung:	A hinge apparatus for coupling a pair of housings of a portable terminal to each other so that the housings can rotate and unfold from each other. The apparatus includes first sun gears coupled to the housings, respectively; second sun gears positioned between the first sun gears so as to interlock the first sun gears; and a stopper unit connected to at least one of the first and second sun gears and adapted to suppress rotation of the first and second sun gears, when the housings are folded on each other while facing each other, so that rotation of the housings is limited.
