Hand-held terminal and its matched wireless base station

The present invention discloses a handheld terminal, including interconnected control modules and WLAN modules, wherein the control modules transmit a corresponding order signal to the WLAN modules according to the call mode selected by a user; the WLAN modules send the received order signals to a wireless LAN; and the call model includes calling the network telephone and traditional telephone. Also disclosed is wireless base stations matching with the handset terminal. The wireless base station includes interconnected control modules and WLAN modules, and the network adapter module and telephone lines adapter module linked to the control modules. The control modules receive the order signals that the WLAN modules receives from the wireless LAN, and switches to the corresponding network adapter module in accordance with the order signal to connect the the control modules with the Internet, or switches to the telephone lines adapter module to connect the control modules with the PSTN. Using the present invention, users can freely choose to take the VoIP network calls or traditional phone calls.
