Touchpad-based input system and method for portable device

The invention provides an image guiding method of a portable device which has a display and a touch tablet. The method includes: when the image view belongs to the single image view type for displaying the image with the original size, according to a signal input by the touch tablet, crossing a screen to roll the image; when the image view belongs to a multi-image view type for simultaneously displaying multiple image frames, according to the signal input by the touch tablet, crossing a multi-image guiding cursor to feature the image where the cursor stays; and when the image belongs to a sliding image view type in which multiple sketch images are displayed in a Powerpoint form, according to the signal input by the touch tablet, orderly sliding the multiple sketch images.
