Zusammenfassung:	This invention relates to a polymer/organic montmorillonite nano-composite fire retardant material, its preparation and application, which takes water as the media, and under the condition of emulsifier, acrylic monomers or styrene monomers that enter organic montmorillonite layers through initiator conduct polymerization, obtaining the polymer/organic montmorillonite nano-composite fire retardant material. It can prepare flame-retardant plastic with good retardant and mechanical properties if this material is melt with acrylonitrile-butadiene-(ABS), HIPS or PP together.
