Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a flame detection in a monitoring area which is achieved by analyzing at least a reference of the radiation appeared in the monitoring area. The video image of the monitoringarea is produced and the area with higher light intensity and local flashing shift is sought in the video image, wherein the area and the image part in relation to the following analysis of the flameexistence is positioned in the first step. The coordinate of the brightest pixel is sought, and then the concerned image range [ROI] smaller than the original image but containing the brightest pixelis defined, and the image range is analyzed according to the appearance of the flame.
