Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily judge a failure of a display device by displaying information in a display circuit even in the condition wherein an automatic shift mode is selected. SOLUTION: A meter ECU carries out a program comprising a step for detecting shift position (S1100) when the automatic shift mode is selected (YES in S1000), a step for lighting a LED corresponding to a first display unit (S1200), and a step for displaying a letter A in the display circuit (S1300).
