Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A wall type air conditioner is provided to surely feed minus ions wafted on an air flow from an air outlet to an air-conditioned room when controlling a wind direction-changing plate in any direction, and easily determine in which direction and in what extent of ions are blown in the air-conditioned room, not obstructing the wind direction-changing plate. CONSTITUTION: A wall type air conditioner has a wind direction-changing plate(23) in an air outlet(21) surrounded with a scroll part(17) and a tongue part(19) of an air conditioner body(1). The air conditioner has an ion generator(25) projecting to the air outlet in a narrowed upstream position in the air outlet surrounded with the scroll part and the tongue part. The wind direction of the wind direction-changing plate is changed according to signals from a remote controller, and the like, and is extended toward the short side of the air inlet.
