Electric power management system and method for electronic equipment

The present invention discloses one kind of power supply managing system and method for electronic equipment. The system includes one power supply managing unit and one or several module level power source units, the module level power source unit is connected serially between the functional module and the power source circuit, and the power supply managing unit controls the power supply of the connected functional modules. The power supply managing method includes presetting the electronic equipment as several functional modules; providing one module level power source unit for each of the functional modules; sending switch control signal to the module level power source unit; and controlling whether to power the connected functional module in the module level power source unit. The present invention realizes the fine management of power supply with simple circuit.
