Zusammenfassung:	A bicycle pedal assembly includes a pair of pedals 12a, 12b and a pair of cleats A, B. The cleats A, B are configured and arranged to selectively cooperate with the right and left bicycle pedals 12a, 12b such that two different release forces can be attained using a single pair of cleats A, B. The pedal 12a, 12b includes a body 22 that rotates about a shaft 21 and a front and rear clamping members 23, 25 are coupled to opposite ends of the pedal body 22. Also, the front and rear clamping members 23, 25 are preferably pivotally coupled to the pedal body 22.
