Pressing device

A pressing device for the draining of a fibre material web, in particular, a paper or cellulose web, comprises two pressing rollers (1, 2) which form a pressing gap. The pressing rollers (1, 2) are mounted in bearing blocks (4, 5; 11, 12), which are connected to each other on one side of the pressing rollers (1, 2). The bearing blocks (4, 5, 11, 12) for the pressing rollers (1, 2) are directly connected to each other by means of a rotating bearing (15) and/or by means of tie bars (16, 16'), whereby the tie bars (16, 16') are connected for their part to the bearing blocks (4, 5, 11, 12) by means of rotating bearings (13, 14). The advantage of this manner of connection for the bearing blocks (4, 5; 11, 12) is that, on a deflection of the pressing rollers (1, 2), no additional forces occur at the mounting points or the connection points of the bearing blocks (4, 5; 11, 12) as the deflection of the pressing rollers (1, 2) is taken up by the rotating joints (13, 14, 15).
