The electrical accessory has an outer part (1) formed in a rectangular frame, in which an insert part is placed comprising an inner part (4) and in which a pressure key is formed as a switch operating component (5). The visible surfaces (6a,7a,8a,9a) of the frame legs (6,7,8,9) of the outer part and the visible surfaces of the frame legs (14,15,16,17) of the inner part are formed by the cover surface of a ball layer. At the frame corners at which the frame legs of the outer and inner parts abut, edges are formed which have an extremely small optical impression. The switch operating component is provided at least on its front side with an overcoat of contact friendly material. Preferably, also on the inner part, at least on its front side, the same overcoat is provide as that on the switch operating component.
