Zusammenfassung: | The testing uses a linear feedback shift register within a transmitter to provide an m-sequence signal with 2-1 symbols having an auto-correlation function free of auxiliary correlation peaks. A baseband signal incorporating the m-sequence signal is inserted in the carrier frequency band and used as a transmission signal fed along the transmission path and is correlated at the reception end with the same m-sequence signal. The m-sequence signal at the receiver has a higher symbol rate which is a whole multiple of greater than 2 of the symbol rate at the transmitter.
