Zusammenfassung:	A carding machine with revolving flats has firm support for the flats, which allow them to glide over when moving. The respective parts on the supports which constitute the gliding surface have suitable laminate on at least one of the parts. Pref. the swift revolves and has card clothing on the periphery. The revolving flats travel in the opposite direction, and the card clothing fitted to them has to be retained at the correct distance to avoid friction. ADVANTAGE - The relative position of the card clothing on the swift and the flats is maintained accurately. The supports resist wear, and avoid lubricants which soil the product.
