The links (1) are assembled together by means of sprung small bars (4) freely passing through the hinge knuckles (2 and 3) of the adjacent links. These sprung small bars (4) are held in place by clevis-shaped pieces (5) whose branches (5a) engage on either side of the hinge knuckles (3) and have holes (6) in which the studs (7) of the sprung small bars (4) engage. The clevis-shaped pieces (5) also have a functional role, consisting in holding the sprung small bars (4) in position, a decorative role insofar as they conceal the articulation hinges of the links (1) and in which, since they have an appearance which is different from that of the parallelepipedal pieces (1), they mark the separation between the links (1). |
