Ammunition in the form of a cartridge, consisting of a bullet and a combustible or partially combustible case which is connected thereto

A round of ammunition, which consists of a bullet (2) and a combustible or partially combustible case (6) which is connected thereto, is intended to be improved without having to modify its external shape, by the bullet (2) and the case (6) being connected to one another internally such that they are stiff in bending and such that the ammunition is more resistant to external stresses. This is achieved by a first connection between the bullet (2) and the case (6) in the region of the case neck (8), and by a second connection which is constructed as a radial supporting element (12) and engages on a rear part (4) of the bullet (2), which projects into the space inside the case. At the same time, the second connection is constructed as a single supporting element, possibly consisting of identically shaped sub elements.
