Zusammenfassung: | The pressure of shock wave generated by a supersonic projectile is detected by transducers to determine the trajectory of a shot in relation to a target. This is of benefit to persons under training so that corrective action can be taken. Transducers (S1-4) are arranged in a T configuration and are coupled by screened cables to amplifiers (54-60) which are connected via capacitors to a multiple channel comparator (62). This determines the time instant when the shockwave is received by a respective transducer. The comparator outputs are passed to a timing interface circuit (64) to convert the comparator outputs into digital values suitable for a mini processor (70). An inertia switch (38) and target mechanism (36) also provide inputs to the interface to allow the processor to display on a screen (72) or line printer (72') the coordinates of a shot w.r.t. the required position. |
