Zusammenfassung:The plant contains a settling chamber (1) which is connected with an electrocoagulation chamber (4) in which soluble electrodes (7) are arranged. One port (5) serves for feeding in waste water, and another port (6) feeds in the electrolyte. In the electrocoagulation chamber (4) there is a partition (8) and a jet pump (11), for feeding in waste water, and a non-return valve (10). The non-return valve (10) is designed so as to be vertically movable under the influence of the waste-water stream and of the gas-water mixture stream rising from the arrangement of the soluble electrodes (7). The plant can be employed particularly expediently for cleaning liquids contaminated with polymers and petroleum products, such as oily and greasy effluents.
