Zusammenfassung:	In order to feed the material to be dried (a) to the conveyor belt (3) in a vacuum drying chamber in a continuous and optimally distributed manner, one end of an inner cylinder (21) has a material feed duct (22) fixed to it. A distribution chamber communicates with the feed duct (22) and in its lower section has distribution nozzles. The inner cylinder (21) is inserted rotatably in an outer cylinder (32) which has a multiplicity of second distribution nozzles. A screw (24) is arranged so as to be freely rotatable in the distribution chamber of the inner cylinder. Rotation of the outer cylinder (32) is effected by a drive mechanism (33, 34). The screw (24) is advantageously driveable by a variable-speed motor (27). The apparatus can be adapted within wide limits to various materials to be dried, e.g. foods and chemicals, and working conditions.
