Zusammenfassung: | A temperature-controlled bimetal switch is formed of a flat housing with an upper wall and a lower wall closely spaced apart. A fixed contact is secured to the inner surface of the upper wall and a curved bimetal snap plate and a contact spring are positioned between the upper and lower walls. The housing is formed of a transparent or translucent rigid plastics material permeable to radiant heat. A movable contact is formed on one end of the contact spring and is displaceable into and out of contact with the fixed contact by the snap plate. The snap plate is loosely secured to the contact spring and is positioned so that radiant heat passing through the housing directly impinges on the snap plate. |
