Data collection facility

The facility comprises a central processing unit (1) which sends, to the peripheral units (2), an interrogation signal (U(t)) formed of at least two superimposed electrical voltage signals: a DC voltage signal of constant amplitude at least equal to the nominal supply voltage for the peripheral unit, and a logic voltage signal containing the address information. A single two-wire bus (3a, 3b) at one and the same time provides for the transmission of the interrogation signal (U(t)), that of a data signal I(t) delivered by each of the peripheral units to the central processing unit, and that of the supply voltage for the peripheral units, it being possible for these transmissions to be made simultaneously. This facility can serve for the collection of data relating to the temperature at various locations of a building, and for the management of these data.
